common species found in the UK. Common habitat includes rivers &
streams, fields, buildings and sewers. They like to feed under cover. A
rapid breeder with 3-6 litters per year of a litter size of 8, they are
sexually mature at 10-12 weeks. They are neophobic which means therefore
cautious with new objects and food sources.

Signs of activity include:
- Noises espically from attics & under floors.
- Droppings.
- Gnawing marks.
- Greasy smears left on walls, pipes and around floor joists, against which they habitually brush.
Treatment for Rats: Your treatment plan will involve 2-3 visits at roughly 1 week intervals and some or all of the following:
- Proofing of your building to prevent access
- Removal of food / water sources
- Better Hygiene & housekeeping
